Business Controller (working location in 高雄左營)

A global energy and technology organisation seeks a Business Controller to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across key business units in Kaohsiung.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting in line with global BU, HUB, and company objectives
• Advise BU/HUB and company stakeholders on financial impacts, strategic decisions, and actionable scenarios
• Oversee financial and commercial matters across quotation, tendering, project execution, and performance reviews
• Drive profitable growth through cost optimisation, productivity, capital efficiency, cash flow, and working capital management
• Ensure financial processes, reporting, contractual terms, and internal controls comply with global standards and regulations
• Deliver accurate management reporting, support audits, and drive best-practice sharing across Finance and Controlling communities

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong Finance & Controlling and Risk Management experience within an industrial or corporate environment
• Proven SAP expertise with the ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting processes
• Strategic thinking and critical analysis skills, with strong business scenario evaluation and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills; Japanese proficiency is advantageous but not required
• Experience in management reporting, internal controls, audit support, regulatory compliance, and Finance & Controlling continuous improvement
