Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely and actionable financial insights by analysing complex data sets and providing strategic recommendations to support business unit leaders in making informed decisions.
• Identify potential financial and operational risks proactively, collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective mitigation plans that safeguard the organisation’s interests.
• Champion financial stewardship throughout the company by embedding rigorous financial practices into all aspects of commercial decision-making processes.
• Lead the annual budget development process as well as rolling forecasts, ensuring these align closely with the organisation’s overarching strategic objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and scenario modelling to inform performance management activities and guide forward-looking decisions.
• Critically review business unit submissions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with corporate goals while constructively challenging assumptions where necessary.
• Oversee all aspects of treasury operations including cash flow planning, liquidity management, and maintaining strong banking relationships to optimise financial health.
• Drive efficiency and transparency in cash forecasting processes while implementing strategies to optimise working capital across the business.
• Lead the credit control function by designing and executing strategies that minimise bad debt exposure and ensure timely collections from customers.
• Design and implement a robust career development roadmap for finance professionals within the team, incorporating key learning experiences and leadership capability building.

Key Resquirments:

• A minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and treasury roles within multinational companies—preferably in technology or electronics sectors—with a proven record of driving positive business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams; skilled at managing performance while fostering an accountable yet supportive culture focused on talent growth through structured development planning.
• Exceptional analytical skills including advanced financial modelling capabilities; adept at interpreting complex data sets to support strategic decision-making processes that enhance overall business performance.
• Practical experience managing cash flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and credit risk—especially within organisations operating global supply chains or channel-based sales models.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion or Power BI alongside advanced Excel modelling skills; able to translate system outputs into meaningful business insights for stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective cross-functional collaboration; capable of influencing diverse groups across finance, sales, operations, and executive leadership teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English with professional-grade verbal and written communication abilities; able to deliver clear insights and reports across regional as well as global teams.
