Senior Accountant

An innovative global medical device company is seeking a Senior Accountant in Taiwan to manage expense and closing operations, oversee statutory compliance and tax filings, administer finance systems, and drive process optimization across regional functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee statutory compliance, GUI processing, VAT, and withholding tax filings in full alignment with Taiwan tax regulations and internal control frameworks
• Review T&E expenses and AP invoices to ensure accurate GL booking, policy compliance, and timely processing
• Execute month-end and quarter-end financial closing activities with high precision and timeliness
• Serve as system administrator for finance platforms (e.g., Concur, Coupa), managing master data maintenance, troubleshooting, and workflow enhancements
• Partner cross-functionally with global, regional, and local stakeholders across Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Treasury
• Support finance transformation and automation projects, leveraging digital tools and AI applications to improve operational scalability

Candidate profile:
• CPA license is required
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience within a multinational company; Big 4 public accounting background is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP FI is required) and expense/procurement tools (Concur, Coupa)
• Advanced MS Excel skills combined with strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English for seamless cross-border collaboration
• Proactive self-starter with a digital mindset, comfortable working independently while driving continuous process improvements
