Finance Manager

A leading Retail Solutions Group in Taiwan is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and cross-border governance across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Regional Operations: Supervise Southeast Asian financial operations, perform anomaly analysis, and ensure compliance across all regional entities.

• Tax Planning & Compliance: Formulate regional tax planning strategies, including VAT, WHT, transfer pricing, electronic invoicing, and customs matters.

• Internal Controls & Digital Transformation: Establish robust internal controls, lead process re engineering and champion digital transformation across finance workflows.

• Leadership & Team Mentorship: Serve as deputy-level leadership, mentoring staff, and driving knowledge sharing and team development.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between headquarters, regional subsidiaries, and external entities such as tax authorities.

• Financial Reporting & ERP Management: Prepare consolidated financial reports and administer ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to optimize reporting efficiency.

• Commercial Support: Support commercial activities in Southeast Asia by applying cross-border enterprise experience to streamline operations.

Candidate Profile:

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA or CFA certifications are preferred.

• Professional Experience: 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 5+ years in a management or collaborative leadership role.

• Regional Market Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience in the Southeast Asian market within a multinational enterprise (prior placement or senior finance experience in Vietnam is highly preferred).

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in tax planning (VAT, WHT, transfer pricing), consolidated reporting, and cross-border financial operations.

• ERP & Digitisation: Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems.

• Soft Skills & Mobility: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a supportive, mentoring approach to leadership; willingness to travel throughout Southeast Asia as required.
