Accounting Manager

A global manufacturer seeks an Accounting Manager in Taiwan to strengthen global financial reporting, ensuring accurate consolidation, regulatory compliance, and strategic business insights.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end group financial consolidation across 50+ global subsidiaries, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting
• Own complex global consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations, foreign exchange translation, minority interests, and multi-currency reporting
• Act as the IFRS technical lead, ensuring consistent accounting policies, implementing new standards, and strengthening financial governance across global entities
• Partner with auditors and senior stakeholders, delivering audit readiness, financial analysis, cash flow reporting, and strategic insights for executive decision-making
• Drive finance systems and reporting transformation, optimising SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Hyperion FCCS, and group reporting processes to improve efficiency
• Champion automation and continuous improvement, streamlining consolidation workflows, accelerating close cycles, and enhancing reporting accuracy across global finance teams

Candidate profile:

• 5–10 years' experience in financial reporting or group financial consolidation within multinational organisations or Big 4 accounting firms
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CPA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Strong expertise in IFRS and multi-entity financial reporting, with the ability to manage complex global consolidation and reporting requirements
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (or SAP ECC) and Oracle Hyperion FCCS, or comparable Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms
• Proven success in multinational, matrixed environments, with business-fluent English and the ability to collaborate across global finance teams
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills, with a track record of driving automation, improving processes, and meeting tight reporting deadlines
