Corporate Accounting Head

Our client is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Head of Corporate Accounting to lead their accounting team in a fast-paced multinational FMCG environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax), and compliance with all local financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders to manage audits and financial reviews.
• Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes in partnership with FP&A team.
• Monitor and improve working capital, cash flow, and balance sheet management.
• Lead ERP and digital finance transformation initiatives.
• Provide strategic guidance and training to the accounting team; foster a high-performing work environment.
• Act as a key finance partner to cross-functional teams including supply chain, marketing, and commercial teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid experience in FMCG or other multinational corporations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in local language and English.
