Senior Business Analyst, APAC

A leading medical technology organisation seeks a Senior Business Analyst in Taiwan to drive commercial strategy, deliver actionable insights, and enhance business performance across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Analyst APAC, you will drive commercial decision-making across the region by delivering actionable insights, enabling performance management, and supporting strategic business priorities through data-driven analysis.

• Partner with commercial leaders and sales teams to understand business priorities, deliver actionable recommendations, and provide analytical insights to executive leadership using internal and external data
• Develop and maintain tools and dashboards to assess business performance, manage commercial activities, and support customer segmentation, targeting, quota setting, territory alignment, account management, and resource allocation
• Leverage SQL and Tableau to query internal data warehouses, deliver accurate reporting, and generate meaningful commercial insights
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to align strategic goals, capitalise on business opportunities, resolve operational issues, and manage recurring deliverables alongside strategic and ad hoc projects in a fast-evolving environment
• Communicate complex findings clearly to influence stakeholders and drive recommendations into action, with up to 20% international travel to engage with regional teams and stakeholders

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics or a related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quantitative or operational role, with the ability to handle complexity and navigate intricate business challenges through strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency; knowledge of Tableau, SQL, dashboard/report creation, data visualisation, modelling, and forecasting is highly valued
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with commercial leaders, communicate complex topics clearly, work independently on defined priorities, and manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to work onsite in Taiwan 3 days per week and travel internationally up to 20% as required
