Senior Engineering Manager (Director) — Test Interface Hardware

A global semiconductor company is looking for an engineering leader to own the test interface hardware function. This is a role for someone who combines real technical depth in test hardware design and validation with a track record of building and running engineering teams.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams across multiple locations and define the technical roadmap for test interface hardware
• Own the design, validation and delivery of load boards, probe cards and related interface hardware
• Drive silicon validation readiness so that new products can be brought up cleanly on first pass
• Prepare hardware for high-volume manufacturing, including parallel test expansion and test cost reduction
• Manage technical risk across programmes and ensure hardware quality and delivery commitments are met
• Manage the test hardware supplier base — capability assessment, cost, lead time and quality
• Partner with test engineering, operations and product teams across the business

What you will bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years in hardware design, development, validation and quality/risk management, including 5+ years leading teams
• Strong working knowledge of semiconductor test flows and SI/PI simulation across digital, mixed-signal, high-speed and RF applications, extending into millimetre-wave
• Hands-on familiarity with mainstream ATE platforms from the major equipment vendors
• Demonstrated success delivering test hardware programmes in a fast-moving semiconductor environment
• Experience running several parallel initiatives, managing vendor relationships and planning hardware technology lifecycles
• Established relationships across the test hardware supply base
