NPI Engineering Manager (Director)

What you’ll do

As the NPI engineering leader in Taiwan, you will own new product introduction from product release through qualification, ramp and mass production, focusing on early-stage readiness, yield and reliability.

• Lead end-to-end NPI from product release, engineering builds, qualification and pilot runs through ramp and mass production release
• Own NPI plans in Taiwan, including milestones, resources and schedule, and align them with global teams
• Drive DFM / DFT / DFR with design and product engineering so products are manufacturable, testable and reliable
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions on yield, quality and reliability issues
• Work with OSATs, foundries and suppliers on process validation and production readiness
• Set and track NPI KPIs, and build and mentor a strong NPI engineering team

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above in EE, ME, Materials Science or a related field
• 15+ years in semiconductor NPI, product or manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years of people management
• Proven track record of taking semiconductor products from NPI through qualification and ramp into mass production
• Strong yield analysis, failure analysis and root-cause problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience working with OSATs, foundries or external manufacturing partners
• Excellent English communication skills in a global organization
• Plus: reliability analysis experience, or a background in MEMS, analog / mixed-signal, timing or sensor products
