Server FAE (Corepower)

About the Company Our client is a semiconductor company providing power management solutions for advanced electronic systems. They are looking for a Field Application Engineer to work closely with customers and internal engineering teams, providing technical support throughout product development, validation, and production ramp-up. This role combines power application knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, technical documentation, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to investigate application issues and coordinate with internal engineering teams to identify effective solutions.

• Communicate customer feedback and technical findings to relevant internal departments to support issue resolution and product improvement.

• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and application guidelines to support customer design and implementation.

• Provide accurate product information and technical guidance throughout the customer project lifecycle.

• Support customer debugging and troubleshooting during engineering validation and trial production.

• Assist in developing and improving test tools for mass production applications.

• Analyse production defects and application failures, working with customers and internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain clear communication with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of technical issues.

• Share technical knowledge and troubleshooting experience within the team to improve application support and engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in power electronics, power applications, or a related engineering field.

• Familiarity with server power architecture, Vcore, or computing-related power management is highly desirable.

• Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to prepare product documentation, specifications, and application guidelines.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware or application issues during product development, validation, or trial production.

• Ability to analyse technical failures, identify potential root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.

• Experience developing, evaluating, or supporting production test tools is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal engineering teams.

• A proactive and systematic approach to problem-solving, issue tracking, and technical follow-up.
