A well-established company seeks a Supply Chain Deputy Manager in Taiwan to lead end-to-end procurement and ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Key responsibilities:

As Supply Chain Deputy Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement, ensure compliance, and drive supplier and process improvements for efficient operations.

  • Responsible for procurement of facility equipment, civil engineering works, and spare parts/consumables
  • Conduct RFQs, price comparisons, and negotiations based on requirements to ensure quality, delivery time, and cost efficiency
  • Execute procurement processes, including requirement confirmation, tendering/quotations, contract or purchase order issuance, and supplier delivery tracking
  • Assist in supplier management and evaluation and maintain strong partnerships with vendors
  • Support procurement needs for equipment maintenance, shutdown/overhaul periods, and urgent material sourcing
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with regulations, internal controls, and company purchasing policies
  • Handle procurement-related documentation, quotations, contracts, and invoice/account reconciliation

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong procurement experience, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ procurement experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; engineering, civil works, electromechanical, or large equipment procurement background is a plus
  • Solid experience in end-to-end procurement activities, including annual planning, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier selection and management
  • Proven ability in supplier evaluation, development, and market research to support cost-effective and strategic purchasing decisions
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and handle procurement processes effectively in an English-speaking environment (intermediate level)
