An organisation seeks a Supply Chain Manager in Taiwan to lead end-to-end planning, production, and logistics while driving process optimisation and supply chain resilience.

Key responsibilities:

As Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain management for a contact lens business unit, overseeing demand planning, production control (PMC), inventory optimisation, and warehouse/distribution operations.

  • Production Planning & Scheduling Management: Develop and manage weekly/monthly production and shipment plans, balancing demand, capacity, and materials while ensuring on-time delivery (OTD)
  • Sales & Operations Coordination and Issue Resolution: Align Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics, resolving supply issues and supporting S&OP execution and decision-making
  • Inventory Planning & Management: Optimise inventory levels and structure to improve turnover, balance service levels, and minimise stockouts and obsolescence
  • Process Optimisation & Planning Capability Enhancement: Improve planning SOPs and forecasting accuracy while driving ERP/MRP and digital transformation initiatives
  • Team Management & Capability Building: Lead and develop the production planning team while fostering a data-driven culture and strengthening supply chain capabilities

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong FMCG supply chain experience, ERP expertise, cross-functional coordination skills, and a track record in process improvement and team development.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred
  • 5+ years’ managerial experience in production management, PMC, or supply planning
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, S&OP, and demand-supply balancing principles
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: FMCG/manufacturing/medical device experience, familiarity with ISO 13485/GMP, and exposure to process improvement, system implementation, automation, or advanced S&OP planning
