Associate Procurement Manager (Direct & Indirect)

A leading multinational pharmaceutical organisation seeks an Associate Procurement Manager (Direct & Indirect) in Taiwan to drive strategic sourcing, optimise procurement, and deliver business value.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute country procurement strategies aligned with business priorities and regional/global category objectives
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management to optimise costs, strengthen supplier performance, and mitigate risk
• Drive procurement excellence by improving processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing procure-to-pay (P2P) operations and systems
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies, consolidate demand, and support annual budgeting and business planning
• Champion procurement transformation by leading system implementations and change initiatives that improve efficiency and business value

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Business with at least three years’ procurement experience across direct and indirect sourcing categories
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience supporting procurement analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
• Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, with knowledge of procurement, supply chain, contract management, and risk management practices
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with intermediate English proficiency for regional collaboration
• Collaborative and analytical mindset with the ability to optimise procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and deliver business value
