A leading global chemical manufacturing organisation is seeking a Production Planner to support end-to-end production operations in Taipei.

You will play a key role in ensuring efficient production scheduling, demand alignment, and inventory control while collaborating across cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities:

As a Production Planner, you will coordinate and optimise production activities across departments to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality output aligned with business and customer requirements.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand and production targets
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and resource availability
  • Collaborate with the sales team on demand forecasting and support effective demand planning for business growth
  • Monitor production activities and adjust schedules proactively to resolve delays, issues, or disruptions
  • Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and material usage for transparency and control
  • Work with quality control and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, while preparing production reports for management

Candidate profile:

You are an analytical and detail-oriented production professional with strong experience in manufacturing environments and a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Production Planner or similar role within the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles, inventory management, and supply chain processes
  • Experience in demand forecasting and supporting end-to-end planning activities
  • Proficiency in production planning systems and related software tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
