A globally recognised premium brand seeks a Head of Operations to drive operational excellence, optimise supply chains, lead strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and inspire high-performing teams to deliver sustainable value.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Operations, you will oversee the operational backbone of the organisation in Taipei, ensuring seamless execution of supply chain strategies while maintaining the brand’s premium reputation.

Stakeholder Communication and Management

  • Maintain intensive communication amongst stakeholders to understand their needs and support them in the most efficient way—including customers, industry, and trade associations while driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation
  • Engage key customers to build trust and develop joint continuous improvement initiatives, optimising service levels, quality, and costs (e.g., building, maintaining, and developing customer collaboration platforms for planning and supply chain processes)

General and Execute Business Plan

  • Create and own the operations business plan, ensuring alignment with global, regional, and country strategies
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process to support accurate forecasting and inventory management
  • Monitor operational costs closely and implement cost-saving initiatives, using internal and external benchmarks to maintain appropriate cost structures

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Own and drive portfolio management, including product lifecycle and post-launch evaluations, while challenging the status quo and acting as gatekeeper for product launches and phase-outs
  • Manage local service providers effectively, defining and adjusting SLAs to match evolving business needs, and provide constructive feedback to HQ-managed providers impacting local operations
  • Ensure HQ-defined quality standards are implemented and followed locally, strengthening quality awareness through warehouse audits, KPI reviews, and training sessions

Policy Development and Implementation

  • Maintain a deep understanding and proper documentation of processes and systems, ensuring compliance with international standards
  • Ensure accuracy and up-to-date data across all systems, while driving timely KPI reporting to HQ and internal stakeholders through appropriate dashboards
  • Develop, implement, and centrally store purchasing policies, outsourcing guidelines, and procedures in coordination with HQ, and ensure all operational tasks are executed by well-trained and well-supported teams through coaching and training

Sustainability

  • Report sustainability-related risks and opportunities from political and public developments to HQ, and lead engagement with trade/industry sustainability groups, including supporting Marketing and On-Premises on recycling initiatives for certain events
  • Act as local sustainability ambassador by driving implementation of global and national Health & Safety regulations and ensuring alignment with company guidelines and projects

Candidate profile:

To excel as Head of Operations, you will bring extensive experience in international supply chains, strong leadership skills, and a passion for sustainability.

  • Over 7 years of experience integrating strategic objectives within international supply chain contexts
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering an inclusive culture
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Hands-on expertise in process improvement, cost optimisation, and project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in SAP R/3 or APO systems is highly desirable; advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential
