Planning AM/Supervisor

What you'll do:
As a Demand & Supply Planning Assistant Manager/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving the consensus demand plan process, ensuring that forecasts reflect realistic demand. You will be responsible for conducting detailed FA and FB analysis, implementing action plans for improvement, and aligning promotional initiatives with the commercial team. Your role will also involve partnering with various teams to ensure timely new product launches, maintaining system data, reviewing supply feasibility, and managing intercompany deployment.
- Driving consensus demand plan process with commercial team to ensure realistic forecasts
- Conducting Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Forecast Bias (FB) analysis and implementing action plans for improvement
- Aligning building blocks (promotions/initiatives) and forecast uplift with the commercial team
- Partnering with commercial and marketing teams to ensure on-time new product launches
- Maintaining system data in P10 (Demand Planning Tool)
- Reviewing supply feasibility and assessing service risk
- Collaborating with commercial team on excess inventory reduction and OBSM liquidation
- Aligning supply plans with mill; managing risks to supply delivery, and reviewing capacity vs. demand
- Coordinating day-wise schedule alignment with mills
- Publishing stock availability vs. forecast; issuing OOS alerts and highlighting key risk items for visibility and action
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Demand & Supply Planning Assistant Manager/Supervisor role brings a wealth of planning experience, particularly in demand planning and supply planning. You possess strong analytical thinking skills coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. Your effective communication skills enable you to present complex information clearly. Experience in S&OP processes is essential, as is proficiency in English and computer literacy, including SAP, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- 5+ years of planning experience, primarily in demand planning and supply planning
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Experience in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy, including SAP, Outlook, Word, and Excel
