Sr. Test Development Engineer (Audio)

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Audio Test Development Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced audio testing solutions for both research and production environments.

• Design and implement audio test algorithms, leveraging AI to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Develop and maintain software solutions for lab and production environments
• Perform test data processing, analysis, and validation to ensure product quality
• Optimise algorithms and systems to improve production performance and factory processes
• Lead technical contributions, define test specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including JDM/TDE) to drive product development and coverage improvements

Candidate profile:

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience in audio testing within manufacturing or factory environments, proficiency with industry-standard tools, and a collaborative mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in audio development/testing, with exposure to factory and production environments
• Proficient in SoundCheck and Audio Precision tools, with strong knowledge of audio principles and methodologies
• Hands-on experience in test station setup, lab/production testing, and system integration
• Solid data analysis skills with the ability to interpret results and troubleshoot issues independently
• Familiar with basic optics and Android architecture
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams and driving JDM delivery
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with willingness to travel for project needs
