About the role A global technology company is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join its engineering team in Taipei. In this role, you will lead software release planning and execution for embedded systems, working closely with engineering, testing, hardware, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful product delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage project risks, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced technology products in a collaborative engineering environment with strong exposure to global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage software release plans aligned with customer project schedules
  • Coordinate software development, integration, validation, and release activities across multiple teams
  • Track release readiness, project milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks
  • Work closely with engineering, hardware, testing, applications, and support teams to ensure successful execution
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and resolve project issues proactively
  • Support customer-facing program managers in aligning delivery plans with customer expectations
  • Drive release readiness reviews and coordinate issue resolution
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Communicate project status, priorities, and timelines to internal stakeholders
  • Continuously improve release management processes and execution efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Software Program Management, or Project Management
  • Experience managing software releases or complex technical development projects
  • Strong understanding of embedded software development and software development lifecycle
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and risk management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
