- Identify and analyse user needs through comprehensive data analysis, market research, user interviews, and focus groups while monitoring industry trends in payments, e-commerce, and fintech.
- Gather relevant ideas from the team and transform insights into well-defined product requirements that enhance the user experience.
- Coordinate and support the service planning process from initial concept through to successful launch, ensuring all steps are meticulously documented and aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain clear documentation such as business requirement documents (BRD), product requirement documents (PRD), user flows, and functional specifications with unwavering attention to accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with local and remote UX designers, developers, QA specialists, marketers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth handovers and progress tracking throughout each project phase.
- Follow up on tasks and deliverables diligently to guarantee commitments are met on time and at the expected quality level.
- Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional and cross-country teams by providing updates that are clear, consistent, and timely.
- Evaluate product or service performance post-launch by analysing user feedback and key metrics to recommend further enhancements that drive growth.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Product Manager – Fintech Payments role brings extensive experience in product management or related fields within e-commerce or fintech environments. Your background includes successful collaboration across international teams as well as hands-on involvement in launching products from inception through completion. You possess advanced analytical abilities that allow you to interpret complex data sets while leveraging your fluency in English and Mandarin (with Korean as a plus) for effective communication. Your skillset encompasses conducting thorough UX research via interviews or focus groups alongside preparing precise documentation that supports seamless project execution. To excel in this position you must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills for fostering cooperation among diverse stakeholders as well as a detail-oriented approach driven by passion for digital payment solutions.
- Over five years of proven experience in product management, service planning or project management within e-commerce, payments, fintech or software industries.
- Demonstrated track record of working successfully in cross-country and cross-functional teams to deliver products from concept through launch.
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) as well as Mandarin; proficiency in Korean is considered an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical skills enabling you to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for product improvement.
- Hands-on experience conducting user interviews, focus groups, usability testing or other UX research methods to inform product decisions.
- Ability to create detailed documentation including BRD/PRD files, process flows and product specifications with high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills paired with strong collaboration abilities that foster positive relationships across multiple teams.
- Outstanding problem-solving capabilities combined with a proactive approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
