[Famous Platform] Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a fast-growing international technology company in the e-commerce and retail technology space. You will build and operate scalable data infrastructure that supports large volumes of commerce data, covering both batch ETL and real-time streaming pipelines.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Develop, operate, and monitor scalable ETL and real-time data pipelines
• Build data workflows covering collection, cleansing, processing, storage, and analytics
• Design and maintain data schemas and optimize database performance
• Develop backend APIs supporting data-related products and services
• Maintain data visualization platforms that transform complex datasets into actionable insights
• Ensure data pipelines remain reliable, scalable, and performant as the business grows

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL and real-time streaming pipelines
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of stream-processing technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, or RisingWave
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases such as BigQuery, TiDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, particularly data-related services
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix, Docker, and Kubernetes

Nice to have: API development experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django, e-commerce domain knowledge, or strong data analytics capabilities.
