[World Leader] Data Operation Engineer

Seeking an On-site Data Operations Engineer in Hsinchu for a tech giant. Requires 5+ years experience focused on production-level data handling, pipelines, orchestration, and troubleshooting. Pure POC or reporting profiles will be rejected. Must have strong Linux, Splunk, Python/Shell scripting, and hybrid cloud (AWS/GCP) skills to manage complex, secure B2B file transfers. Fluent English is mandatory for global cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Own the operation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise MFT and orchestration platforms (Airflow, GoAnywhere, Control-M) across hybrid cloud environments.

• Monitor live production-level job executions and workflows to ensure data timeliness, accuracy, and high availability.

• Perform root cause analysis, deep-dive troubleshooting, and incident resolution for complex data transfer failures and system alerts.

• Manage secure B2B data integration and movement between on-premise systems and cloud platforms (AWS S3, GCP GCS).

• Develop Python and Shell scripts to automate manual data workflows and enhance advanced orchestration in Linux environments.

• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain runbooks, and support production validation for platform enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in IT operations, application support, or data engineering.

• Proven track record handling real-world production-level data pipelines (Not sandbox/POC environments).

• Strong platform expertise in Airflow, GoAnywhere, or Control-M, alongside file transfer protocols (SFTP, HTTPS) and encryption.

• Deep knowledge in log analysis tools, specifically Splunk (alerts, dashboards, complex SPL queries).

• Solid Linux/Unix technical skills, including filesystem management, permissions, and shell scripting.

• Strong automation mindset using Python for API integrations and custom Airflow DAGs.

• Fluent English communication skills to collaborate effectively under pressure with international cross-functional teams.

• (Bonus) Domain knowledge in manufacturing data landscapes or hardware operations.
