The core mission of this role is to decode consumer behaviour, evaluate competitor landscapes, and identify emerging market trends. By bridging the gap between raw market data and strategic execution, the successful candidate will directly influence the product direction, pricing strategies, and global positioning of the company’s offerings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research Design: Architect and execute comprehensive market research studies to uncover high-value opportunities
  • Behavioural Analysis: Deep-dive into consumer preferences and trends to anticipate shifts in the market.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Perform rigorous competitive analysis and market sizing to maintain the company’s edge
  • Target Segmentation: Identify and profile key target audiences to refine marketing and product focus
  • Insight Translation: Transform complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable business strategies
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present compelling reports and "storytelling" presentations for key stakeholders and leadership

Candidate profile:

  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in a market research or consumer insights role
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills with a mastery of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SPSS, Tableau, and Google Analytics
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Communication Excellence: The ability to translate data into a narrative that stakeholders can easily digest and act upon
