We are looking for a visionary Senior Data Engineer to lead the evolution of a massive enterprise-level data ecosystem. In this role, you will be the architect behind a cutting-edge Data Lakehouse, driving the transition towards storage-compute decoupling and hybrid-cloud infrastructures.

What You’ll Do

• Architectural Innovation: Design and optimize enterprise Data Lakehouse structures, implementing storage-compute decoupling to ensure maximum scalability and cost-efficiency.

• Real-time Streaming: Build and manage high-concurrency data streaming systems using technologies like Kafka, Flink, and Spark Streaming.

• Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Leadership: Lead the integration of on-premises infrastructure with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), leveraging platforms like BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks.

• Data Modeling & Governance: Establish robust data models (Medallion Architecture/Kimball) and drive data governance policies to ensure high data quality, lineage, and security compliance.

• AI-Assisted Engineering: Integrate AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor) into the development lifecycle to enhance efficiency while maintaining rigorous code quality and security standards.

• Cross-functional Synergy: Partner with AI/ML, Data Science, and Business teams to translate complex requirements into high-impact data products.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with at least 2 years focused on enterprise-level architecture design.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Deep expertise in Spark, Trino, and Lakehouse technologies (Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Hudi).

  • Proficiency in Python and Advanced SQL (performance tuning and execution plan analysis).

  • Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker for containerized deployments.

• Cloud & Tools: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses and workflow orchestrators like Apache Airflow.

• AI Proficiency: Skilled in AI-assisted engineering and prompt engineering to accelerate development cycles.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
