Data Engineer (Cryptocurrency)

A pioneering digital asset group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale a modern data infrastructure that supports trading systems, compliance, marketing analytics, and AI initiatives. What You’ll Do

• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process transactional, blockchain, and log data from multiple sources

• Design and maintain a robust Data Lakehouse architecture ensuring availability and scalability

• Collaborate with backend engineers and DBAs to optimize database performance

• Implement data governance practices including access control, privacy, and compliance

• Partner with product, finance, risk, and marketing teams to deliver data solutions that drive the business

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or large-scale data systems

• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Experience with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or DBT

• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java

• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, and Athena

• Solid understanding of data modeling and performance tuning

• Bonus: Experience with streaming frameworks (Kafka, Spark Streaming), Data Lakehouse tools (Delta Lake, Iceberg, Hudi), or data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR)
