【AI Cybersecurity】Senior Engineering Director

A global cybersecurity company is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to spearhead company-wide AI transformation and define the long-term direction of AI engineering across the enterprise.

This role will lead multiple engineering teams through Engineering Managers and is accountable for scaling AI capabilities, driving organisational change, and delivering tangible business outcomes across global product lines.

Key responsibilities:

As Senior Engineering Director, you will lead AI-driven engineering strategy, drive global transformation, and set standards to enable scalable innovation aligned with business goals.

• Own enterprise AI transformation strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
• Lead multiple engineering teams through Engineering Managers, scaling org and talent
• Drive AI-first adoption across engineering, product, and platform teams
• Align cross-functional AI initiatives with Product, Infra, Security, and Research
• Define AI engineering standards, architecture, and governance frameworks
• Deliver end-to-end large-scale AI programs from planning to global rollout
• Represent engineering in executive forums, translating tech strategy into business value

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring experience leading large-scale AI engineering transformations, strong GenAI expertise, and the ability to align technical strategy with business goals.

• 20+ years in software engineering/AI, including 5–8+ years leading Engineering Managers or multi-layer teams
• Proven success driving large-scale AI or platform transformation in global, complex organisations
• Strong understanding of GenAI, AI platforms, and modern AI/ML systems for strategic decision-making
• Experience scaling multi-team, multi-product, or multi-region engineering organisations
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management, balancing strategy with delivery execution
