[Tech Transformation] Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer to build reliable data infrastructure across manufacturing, energy, and sustainability operations. You will integrate ERP, plant, laboratory, energy, and external data through on-premise and cloud pipelines, creating trusted datasets for analytics, reporting, modeling, and enterprise decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Define data requirements, sources, fields, update frequency, and delivery timelines with stakeholders.
• Build and manage relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Design table structures, indexes, and database operations.
• Develop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines connecting on-premise environments with cloud platforms.
• Transform and deliver data for reporting, analytics, and modeling.
• Integrate data across ERP, energy systems, laboratory systems, and other operational sources.
• Establish scheduling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot missing data, delays, connection issues, and pipeline failures.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and maintainability across workflows.

What You’ll Bring

• Master’s degree in CS, Information Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Management, or related fields.
• 2+ years of Data Engineering / Data Pipeline experience.
• Strong SQL and Python-based data processing skills.
• Experience with relational databases, including indexing, backup, and basic performance optimization.
• Hands-on ETL / ELT and orchestration experience such as Airflow.
• Git and basic Linux knowledge.
• Strong requirements analysis and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have: AWS / Azure / GCP / Alibaba Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, Data Governance, Kafka / MQTT, ERP / SAP, or industrial data experience.
