What you'll do:

• Lead the planning and execution of strategic artificial intelligence initiatives across multiple business functions by collaborating closely with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to create measurable business impact through innovative solutions tailored to organisational needs.
• Design and implement advanced AI-powered applications that optimise operational workflows and enhance decision-making processes throughout the enterprise.
• Build end-to-end artificial intelligence solutions utilising Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, Speech technologies, and other state-of-the-art frameworks.
• Develop use cases including intelligent assistants, document understanding systems, risk prediction models, recommendation engines, summarisation tools, and information extraction pipelines.
• Perform comprehensive data integration, cleansing, transformation, feature engineering, and quality enhancement activities to support robust analytics and model development.
• Establish best practices for MLOps to monitor model performance, govern AI lifecycles, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data professionals to translate complex business challenges into scalable artificial intelligence solutions that drive adoption across the enterprise.
• Measure project outcomes rigorously by defining optimisation strategies and tracking key performance indicators to ensure successful implementation of AI initiatives.
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of artificial intelligence by promoting knowledge sharing, training opportunities, and fostering an inclusive environment for continuous learning.

What you bring:

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering or related discipline is required for this role.
• At least eight years of professional experience with five years focused specifically on artificial intelligence or machine learning initiatives within large-scale enterprises.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end AI solutions from concept through production deployment in highly regulated environments.
• Expertise in Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Learning architectures, Large Language Model ecosystems such as GPT or BERT variants.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain as well as modern Generative AI architectures is essential.
• Solid understanding of data preparation techniques including integration, cleansing, transformation processes alongside feature engineering methodologies.
• Experience building enterprise-scale artificial intelligence applications that drive real-world adoption across multiple business functions.
• Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Passion for emerging artificial intelligence technologies coupled with the ability to translate innovation into measurable business value for the organisation.
• Preferred qualifications include experience developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems; background in multimodal AI such as document intelligence or vision-language models; familiarity with prompt engineering; knowledge of MLOps practices; cloud-native development; exposure to distributed computing frameworks like Spark; containerisation using Kubernetes or OpenShift; advanced analytical methodologies including experimentation or reinforcement learning; previous experience in highly regulated industries.
