Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines for cybersecurity applications, including data preprocessing and feature engineering for threat detection
• Apply LLMs, transformers, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to analyse and predict cyber threats
• Develop AI-driven solutions for ransomware and advanced threat detection, including behavioural analysis and anomaly detection in operational environments
• Implement and optimise models for edge computing deployments, addressing performance and resource constraints in real-world systems
• Translate cybersecurity and AI research into practical solutions while staying updated on emerging threats and technological advancements

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong ML and cybersecurity expertise, experience building ML pipelines, proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow, and ability to use LLMs for threat detection and edge deployment.

• 5+ years' experience in machine learning and cybersecurity
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related AI/ML-focused field
• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in ML libraries and frameworks
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with a strong focus on innovation in cybersecurity
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
