Key responsibilities:

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will collaborate with data scientists to design, build, and deploy scalable production AI systems, while ensuring performance, reliability, and continuous optimisation.

• Collaborate with data scientists to translate business requirements and models into production-ready code
• Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and reliable AI models and systems
• Maintain, monitor, and optimise AI systems, including troubleshooting performance issues
• Ensure stability, scalability, and security of AI systems in production environments
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment
• Produce clear technical documentation, including system design, APIs, and operational guides
• Participate in technical decisions, introduce best practices, and mentor junior engineers

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring a relevant degree, strong software engineering experience, hands-on AI and Python skills, and proven ability in collaboration, system maintenance, documentation, and mentoring.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related fields
• At least 3 years’ full-time software development experience
• At least 1 year hands-on AI project experience using Python, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in AI development libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
