A tech company in Taipei is seeking a Senior AI Tech Lead to lead an AI team and drive solutions in AI, algorithms, and digital twin technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of ~10 AI engineers, fostering collaboration and technical growth
• Report directly to the CTO, aligning technical strategy with business goals
• Develop and implement advanced AI solutions, including RL and LLM architectures
• Design and optimise complex algorithms for large-scale technical challenges
• Support digital twin (3D modelling and simulation) integration into products
• Collaborate with SaaS, automation, and semiconductor teams for AI integration
• Promote best practices in software engineering, data science, and ethical AI
• Encourage an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture
• Track AI and automation trends to identify innovation opportunities
• Represent the team in strategic leadership discussions and updates

Candidate profile:

• Experience in start-up environments requiring adaptability and strong collaboration
• Proven success leading end-to-end SaaS product development from concept to launch
• Experience managing 10+ engineers with a focus on talent development and empathetic leadership
• Strong expertise in AI, including reinforcement learning and large language model architectures
• Solid knowledge of algorithm design for large-scale problems in automation or semiconductor sectors
• Familiarity with digital twin (3D modelling) and basic-to-intermediate physical simulation
• Ability to foster inclusive collaboration across teams, uphold ethical AI practices, and embrace continuous learning
