A leading manufacturing group seeks an AI Engineer in Taipei to drive generative AI innovation using LLMs and machine learning, developing intelligent solutions for digital transformation and advanced new energy systems.

Key responsibilities:

You will develop and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions that enable innovation across generative AI and intelligent energy systems.

• Develop and implement generative AI systems using LLMs, image, and video generation tools across key enterprise software projects
• Design and build machine learning and deep learning models and related algorithms to support diverse business needs
• Research emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applications across different units within the organisation
• Support requirement gathering and preliminary analysis for AI solutions in new energy systems such as energy storage, batteries, and smart grids
• Conduct data exploration and model architecture research aligned with project objectives and available datasets
• Deliver end-to-end AI model development, deployment, KPI monitoring, and documentation, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning

Candidate profile:

You are a technically strong AI professional with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in complex environments.

• Strong familiarity with generative AI tools and up-to-date industry developments, with hands-on experience in building generative AI systems preferred
• Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning theories, methods, and principles, supported by strong statistical knowledge
• Experience with LLM orchestration and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code automation tools such as Dify, n8n, or Make for workflow optimisation
• Experience in RAG systems, vector databases, and fine-tuning techniques (e.g., LoRA/QLoRA) is highly advantageous
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience using ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch, plus exposure to web scraping or API integration
• Familiar with Git workflows and collaborative development practices, with a Master’s degree or above preferred and strong practical AI project experience highly valued
