A leading global semiconductor manufacturer is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Manager in Taiwan to drive the adoption and integration of AI and machine learning solutions across core business processes.

Key responsibilities:

You will drive the strategic application of AI and machine learning across the organisation by identifying high-impact use cases, developing scalable solutions, and leading end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal users to identify and prioritise opportunities for applying AI/ML to improve business processes
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions for business use cases using the internal AI platform
  • Lead, manage, and scale a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers, ensuring performance and growth
  • Partner with executive stakeholders, technical leads, and external partners to successfully deliver AI-driven applications
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams to define scope, manage priorities, track deliverables, and mitigate risks to ensure timely execution
  • Drive AI/ML research initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and define strategic roadmaps for adoption and implementation

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in AI/ML development, programme management, and large-scale corporate IT environments, ideally within semiconductor or smart manufacturing industries.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, programme management, or technology development within corporate IT environments
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and implementation
  • Proven experience addressing real-world challenges in production machine learning systems
  • Prior experience in smart manufacturing environments is highly desirable
  • Background in semiconductor R&D or manufacturing is a strong advantage
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment across stakeholders
