About the Company Our client is a global semiconductor company developing advanced products for a wide range of applications. As part of its continued growth, the company is looking for an experienced Reliability Assurance Manager to strengthen product reliability and quality across the product lifecycle. This role will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external partners to establish reliability strategies, support new product development, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll do

As a Reliability Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing reliability programmes from new product development through production. You will work across multiple functions to identify potential reliability risks, coordinate qualification activities, and drive corrective actions when issues arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement reliability strategies and qualification plans for new and existing semiconductor products.
  • Define reliability requirements, test plans, and qualification methodologies in accordance with industry standards and product requirements.
  • Work closely with Design, Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other technical teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead reliability qualification activities and monitor results to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse reliability data and test results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for product and reliability issues.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by assessing reliability risks and ensuring appropriate qualification activities are completed.
  • Work with suppliers and external partners on reliability requirements, testing, and issue resolution where required.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate reliability findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and long-term performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant reliability standards, methodologies, and industry practices.

What you bring

The successful candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor reliability engineering, quality engineering, or a related technical discipline. You should be comfortable working across functions, analysing complex technical issues, and driving reliability improvements from investigation through to implementation.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability, quality, product engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor reliability methodologies, qualification processes, and reliability testing.
  • Experience with product qualification and reliability assessment for new product development.
  • Hands-on experience in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reliability and test data.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and reliability methodologies.
  • Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, or external laboratories is a plus.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin for communication with international and local stakeholders.
