Process Integration Engineering Manager

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan

A leading multinational semiconductor company is seeking an experienced Process Integration Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for process integration strategy, yield improvement, manufacturing excellence, and technology execution. This is a leadership position offering the opportunity to influence technology direction, support new product introduction, and drive operational performance within a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Product Engineering, Operations, and Business stakeholders to ensure successful technology transfer, production ramp, and long-term manufacturing stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Process Integration Engineering team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and career development support.
  • Define and execute process integration strategies to improve yield, quality, productivity, and manufacturing performance.
  • Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for complex process and product-related challenges.
  • Support new product introduction, technology transfer, qualification activities, and production ramp-up.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical objectives, project milestones, and operational priorities.
  • Act as a key technical leader for process integration-related decisions and manufacturing improvements.
  • Establish performance metrics and monitoring systems to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage engineering resources effectively to support both short-term operational needs and long-term business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project execution and customer requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process enhancement and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong background in Process Integration, Technology Development, Process Engineering, Yield Engineering, or related semiconductor manufacturing functions.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience leading engineering teams.
  • Proven experience driving yield improvement, process optimization, and manufacturing performance enhancement.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and production environments.
  • Experience supporting technology qualification, product ramp-up, and high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across different organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business functions.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within multinational semiconductor organizations.
  • Experience supporting advanced manufacturing technologies and complex process integration challenges.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience leading organizational development and talent growth initiatives.
  • Exposure to customer-facing technical discussions or business-critical projects is highly preferred.
