Field Application Engineer

What you'll do:

As a Senior Field Application and Service Engineer based in Kaohsiung, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering expert technical support throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your day-to-day activities will involve travelling to customer sites across Taiwan to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated ATE hardware systems. You will also be responsible for interpreting complex schematics to diagnose faults efficiently while providing clear communication back to both customers and internal teams. In addition to hands-on engineering tasks, you will collaborate with sales colleagues to understand client requirements deeply, develop tailored demonstrations or training sessions, and ensure that every interaction leaves customers feeling supported. • Serve as the primary technical resource for customers during both pre-sales consultations and post-sales support phases, ensuring their needs are fully understood and addressed.

• Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, and comprehensive training sessions tailored to diverse audiences.
• Provide hands-on support with probecards and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
• Perform support and repair of complex ATE hardware at remote customer locations throughout Taiwan, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Interpret schematic circuitry and components to accurately identify issues within assemblies and facilitate effective repairs.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance of high-precision ATE systems to uphold reliability standards and extend equipment lifespan.
• Document all service activities thoroughly, maintaining clear records for future reference and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams by relaying feedback, identifying recurring issues, and contributing to product enhancements.
