Driver IC Marketing

About the role An established semiconductor company is seeking a Driver IC Project Manager to support new product development and customer projects. This position will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution from product evaluation through production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in display IC, semiconductor product management, or application engineering who enjoys customer engagement, project coordination, and driving successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Driver IC customer projects from development through production.
• Coordinate closely with R&D, application engineering, operations, and other internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Support customer design activities, monitor project progress, and facilitate issue resolution throughout the product development cycle.
• Work with customers to understand technical requirements and coordinate design-in activities.
• Track engineering samples, qualification status, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive information to support future product planning.
• Build strong relationships with customers through regular communication and on-site visits when required.
• Identify project risks and drive cross-functional discussions to ensure timely execution.
• Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders and management.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor, display IC, or related industries.
• Background in Product Management, Project Management, Field Application Engineering, Product Engineering, or R&D is preferred.
• Experience managing customer projects or coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
• Understanding of semiconductor product development and design-in processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions.
• Ability to analyse market trends and customer requirements to support business growth.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
