System Design Engineer - Serdes
Job Summary We are seeking a SerDes System Engineer to support the development, validation, and deployment of high-speed connectivity solutions. This role involves system verification, test automation, product integration, and customer support across technologies such as Ethernet, PCIe, High-Speed IO, CPO, and Silicon Photonics. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded systems, signal integrity analysis, and mass production support within high-performance communication platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate high-speed SerDes solutions, including architecture design, debugging, optimization, and system verification.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks to improve validation efficiency and product quality.
- Support product integration, customer bring-up, troubleshooting, and mass production activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system prototypes, performance optimization, and technical issue resolution.
- Conduct SIPI analysis and support optical module, High-Speed IO, and Silicon Photonics-related development.
- Create technical documentation and provide customer-facing technical support.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, C#, embedded systems, and MATLAB.
- Hands-on experience in system verification, validation, or mass production support.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes, High-Speed IO, or optical communication technologies.
- Familiarity with SIPI analysis, optical modules, CPO, or Silicon Photonics is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
