General Trade Head
An organisation seeks a General Trade Head to lead distributor networks and go-to-market strategy in Taiwan, driving channel performance, partnerships, and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
As General Trade Head, you will lead distributor partnerships in Taiwan, driving sales growth, channel efficiency, and data-driven execution across markets.
- Distributor Network & Go-To-Market Strategy: Design and optimise the GTM framework by identifying, appointing, and managing key distributor partners, and structuring commercial terms to maximise market coverage and penetration
- Commercial Execution & Financial Accountability (P&L Ownership): Deliver annual volume and revenue targets across territories by executing joint business plans, driving field performance, and optimising trade spend to enhance channel profitability
- Channel Discipline & Market Integrity Management: Implement strong market monitoring controls to protect pricing architecture, reduce cross-border trading risks, and ensure healthy inventory management across distributor networks
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring experience in distributor management, GTM strategy, commercial negotiation, data-driven planning, and stakeholder leadership.
- Strategic Commercial Negotiation & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence and partner with key distributor owners, aligning commercial objectives with mutual profitability and long-term business growth
- Advanced Distributor Analytics & Demand Forecasting: Strong analytical skills in using distributor systems and sales data to optimise inventory, forecast demand, and reduce supply chain risks
- Agile Field Leadership & Performance Drive: Exceptional leadership capability to direct, coach, and inspire high-performing, geographically dispersed frontline sales forces while maintaining strong operational resilience in high-pressure environments
