An organisation seeks a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in Taiwan to lead its digital transformation strategy, driving innovation, and enhancing digital capabilities across the business.

This role focuses on leveraging technology, data, and digital channels to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s digital transformation roadmap aligned with overall business strategy
  • Lead digital innovation initiatives, including e-commerce, mobile platforms, data analytics, and emerging technologies
  • Drive customer-centric digital strategies to enhance user experience and engagement across all digital touchpoints
  • Oversee digital product development and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, marketing, operations, and sales) to implement digital solutions
  • Utilise data and analytics to generate insights, optimise performance, and support decision-making
  • Establish and track digital KPIs, ensuring measurable business impact
  • Identify new digital business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Manage digital budgets, vendors, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred)
  • 12+ years' experience in digital, technology, or transformation roles, with senior leadership experience
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, platforms, and emerging technologies
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making and analytics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to link digital initiatives to business outcomes
