What you'll do:

As Senior Legal Counsel based in 內湖, you will immerse yourself in the daily operations of a global technology leader. Your role will involve drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements that underpin the organisation’s business activities. You will provide critical legal support for international operations and strategic transactions while advising management on regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting corporate governance matters such as board resolutions and subsidiary management. You will coordinate with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions to ensure seamless legal representation. Additionally, you will assist with litigation management and dispute resolution while supporting M&A transactions as needed. By developing robust internal legal processes and compliance programmes, you will contribute to the organisation’s continued success. Your ability to deliver practical legal guidance will empower teams throughout the business to operate confidently within regulatory frameworks.

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, SaaS contracts, vendor procurement contracts, partnerships, technology licensing agreements, and professional services agreements.
  • Provide comprehensive legal support for global business operations, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advise management teams and internal stakeholders on legal risks, regulatory requirements, compliance matters, and practical solutions.
  • Support corporate governance activities such as board resolutions, shareholder matters, subsidiary management, and coordination of corporate secretarial functions.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel in various countries to ensure consistent legal advice and effective representation.
  • Assist with litigation management processes including dispute resolution strategies, employment law matters, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Contribute to M&A transactions as well as financing, investment, and restructuring activities by providing expert legal guidance.
  • Develop and enhance internal legal processes by creating templates and compliance programmes tailored to organisational needs.
  • Deliver commercially focused legal guidance that empowers internal stakeholders to make informed decisions while maintaining compliance.

The ideal Senior Legal Counsel brings extensive experience from both private practice and in-house roles within international organisations. Your background includes handling complex commercial contracts across borders while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. You possess strong interpersonal skills that allow you to connect with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and foster cooperative relationships throughout the business. Your fluency in English enables you to communicate effectively on global matters; Mandarin Chinese proficiency further enhances your ability to navigate regional challenges. Experience within the technology or SaaS sector equips you with industry-specific insights necessary for supporting innovative projects. You are dependable when managing sensitive corporate governance issues such as board resolutions or shareholder matters. Your analytical approach ensures thorough risk assessment while your sensitivity towards regulatory requirements keeps the organisation ahead of compliance obligations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., J.D., or equivalent) is required; qualification as a lawyer in at least one jurisdiction is preferred.
  • 5–8 years of relevant legal experience with exposure to international law firm environments highly valued.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is considered an advantage for cross-border communication.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial contracts with an understanding of cross-border compliance requirements.
  • Ability to operate dependably within a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience within the technology sector or SaaS industry is strongly preferred due to the nature of the organisation’s business model.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Proven track record of supporting corporate governance activities including board resolutions and subsidiary management.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with sensitivity towards regulatory changes impacting global operations.
