A gaming and digital assets company in Taiwan seeks a Fraud Specialist to prevent fraud, manage risk and compliance, and protect platform integrity.

Key responsibilities:

As a Fraud Specialist, you will detect fraud, investigate cases, support KYC, and strengthen risk controls.

Fraud Monitoring & Investigation

  • Monitor user activity and transactions to detect suspicious or abnormal behaviour
  • Investigate fraud cases (e.g., bonus abuse, multi-accounting, collusion, payment fraud, AML risks)
  • Analyse flagged accounts and provide findings, actions, and recommendations
  • Escalate high-risk cases as needed

Operational Risk Control

  • Support development and optimisation of fraud and risk control workflows
  • Monitor payment risks (deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, abuse)
  • Assist with KYC, verification, and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with Ops, Payments, CS, Product, and Tech teams

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse transaction data and user behaviour to identify fraud trends
  • Produce fraud reports, incident summaries, and risk insights
  • Assess effectiveness of controls and suggest improvements

Compliance & Platform Security

  • Ensure adherence to fraud prevention and risk procedures
  • Support anti-fraud, responsible gaming, and security initiatives
  • Help maintain platform integrity and operational safety

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong analytical skills, AML/KYC knowledge, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented investigative skills, plus proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tool
  • Able to work independently under pressure with sound judgment, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience in gaming, fintech, payments, or fraud prevention, with knowledge of AML, KYC, fraud detection, bonus abuse, or payment risk management (nice to have)
  • Experience analysing user behaviour and transactional data in fast-paced operational environments
