An international FMCG brand is seeking a (Retail) Store Development Project Manager in Taiwan to lead new store openings, renovations and closures from design handover through construction, inspection and opening.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead multiple store development projects from design handover through opening, keeping projects on schedule and within budget
• Coordinate with design, VM and headquarters teams to ensure drawings, materials and store designs meet brand standards
• Manage contractors and vendors across fit-out, MEP, fire safety, signage and furniture works
• Oversee on-site construction, ensuring quality, safety and timely resolution of issues
• Manage permits, project costs and budget tracking throughout the development process
• Lead final inspections and handover while improving construction standards, vendor performance and cost efficiency

Candidate profile:

• 3–5 years’ experience in retail store development, fit-out, renovation or construction
• Hands-on experience with retail interior fit-out, including walls, ceilings and flooring
• Able to read architectural and construction drawings
• Experience monitoring construction progress, budgets and costs
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills
• VM experience is welcome, but hands-on store fit-out or renovation experience is essential
• Fluent Mandarin and working English; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing to support site inspections, occasional night works and travel across Taiwan
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or a related field preferred
