A leading global company seeks a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion, build strategic partnerships, and accelerate business growth across Taiwan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by developing new client opportunities, strengthening relationships with insurers and strategic partners, and expanding market presence across Taiwan
  • Lead business development initiatives through client engagement, seminars, training, and promotional campaigns that increase market awareness and generate new business opportunities
  • Shape commercial strategy by analysing market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and insurer partnerships to strengthen competitive positioning and revenue growth
  • Partner with regional marketing and finance teams to optimise sales budgets, develop compelling value propositions, and support key account performance
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle by identifying recovery opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, developing competitive proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and securing new business

Candidate profile:

  • 10+ years' experience in B2B business development or service sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles
  • Proven expertise in commercial contract negotiation, strategic account management, stakeholder engagement, and solution selling within corporate environments
  • Experience working with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, industrial clients, or technical service organisations; knowledge of industrial plant maintenance or disaster recovery is highly advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs while collaborating with cross-functional finance and marketing teams
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long-term partnerships
