New Business Developer
A global payments technology provider in Taiwan seeks a Principal New Business Developer to drive new business sales, manage the pipeline, and close deals to meet targets within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities:
As a New Business Developer, you will drive business growth by developing client relationships, leading complex sales cycles, and delivering tailored payment solutions.
- Identify and develop opportunities to promote payment technology solutions to prospective and existing clients in Taiwan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across wholesale banking clients
- Collaborate with internal and external business and technical teams to deliver tailored technology solutions
- Develop sales strategies and coordinate resources to drive successful business outcomes and close opportunities
- Manage account profiles, sales pipelines, and customer records in line with sales best practices
- Stay informed on product developments, market trends, and competitive activities within the payments industry
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and information security requirements while supporting additional business needs as required
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring strong experience in payments or fintech solution sales, expertise in high-value payment systems, and proven ability to manage senior banking relationships and drive business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 10 years’ sales experience within high-value payment products or payment processing solutions
- Strong background in payments-related solution selling within the financial services or fintech sector
- Hands-on experience with high-value payment systems and standards, including SWIFT, CIFS/RTGS, FISC, TCH (ACH), and ISO 20022
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively
- Deep understanding of high-value payment market trends, industry practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing high-value payment solution deals with banks in Taiwan
