Save job

A leading global provider of merchant services is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join their Taipei City team. This role offers you the opportunity to connect with businesses and help them grow by providing tailored payment solutions. You will be part of a supportive network that values your interpersonal skills, encourages professional development, and fosters an inclusive environment where every team member’s contribution is recognised.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Sales Manager in Taipei City, you will play a pivotal role in connecting businesses with merchant services that empower their operations. Your daily responsibilities will centre on nurturing client relationships through thoughtful account management, identifying new opportunities for growth via collaborative outreach efforts, and guiding prospects through the sales pipeline with sensitivity to their needs. You will respond to customer inquiries by providing clear online presentations and maintain detailed records in the CRM system to ensure seamless communication across teams. By staying up-to-date on industry trends and product developments, you will be able to offer valuable insights that foster trust among clients. Success in this role comes from your ability to share knowledge generously, work together with colleagues towards common goals, and create an environment where every client feels supported throughout their journey.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with significant annual net revenue value, ensuring each relationship is nurtured through attentive account management and regular communication.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories by engaging in face-to-face meetings, telephone communications, marketing initiatives, and other outreach activities.
  • Conduct thorough meetings with prospects to pinpoint key contacts, qualify leads, and guide them through the sales pipeline with empathy and understanding.
  • Perform needs analysis at all prospect levels to ensure solutions are tailored to each client’s unique requirements, fostering trust and loyalty throughout the process.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests for information by delivering online presentations that are informative, considerate, and responsive to their needs.
  • Close additional product or service sales with existing clients by deepening relationships and sharing relevant offerings that support their business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions—including call notes, scheduled meetings, contact details, and other pertinent information—in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Keep management informed of all activity by preparing timely reports that detail progress, challenges faced, and collaborative solutions implemented.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the current product/service portfolio as well as changes within the payments industry to remain dependable and knowledgeable when advising clients.

What you bring:

The ideal Assistant Sales Manager brings proven experience in B2B sales environments where nurturing relationships is paramount. Your background demonstrates not only technical proficiency but also emotional intelligence—allowing you to empathise with clients’ needs while offering dependable solutions. You have honed your communication skills through years of interacting with diverse stakeholders, always striving for clarity and understanding. Your approach is collaborative; you value teamwork as much as individual achievement. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com is beneficial but not essential if you are eager to learn. Above all, your commitment to ongoing development ensures you remain knowledgeable about industry advancements so you can share insights generously within your network.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience demonstrating commitment to learning and personal growth.
  • Minimum four years’ relevant experience in B2B sales or related fields where nurturing client relationships was central to success.
  • Proven track record in cold calling sales environments showing dependability and resilience when reaching out to new prospects.
  • Demonstrated successful performance in previous sales roles where collaboration led to positive outcomes for both clients and teams.
  • Developing professional expertise with the ability to apply company policies compassionately when resolving various issues.
  • Experience working on problems of moderate scope requiring careful review of multiple factors before taking action.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities enabling quick resolution of client concerns while maintaining trustful relationships.
  • Effective listening skills paired with strong communication capabilities that help establish long-lasting connections with customers.
  • Knowledge of the merchant payment industry or willingness to undergo training opportunities provided by the company.
