Senior Market Development Manager
A global organisation seeks a Senior Market Development Manager in Taipei for a newly created role to drive pre-market pulmonology and biopsy innovation for minimally invasive lung care and improved patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
As a Senior Market Development Manager, you will drive pulmonology innovation by engaging key opinion leaders and supporting the commercialisation of new biopsy solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital executives, and specialty societies to support new product introductions in Taiwan
- Develop deep expertise in interventional pulmonology, interventional radiology, and thoracic surgery ecosystems, including care pathways and technologies
- Map patient journeys from diagnosis to treatment, identifying stakeholders, incentives, and barriers across the continuum of care
- Gather and analyse market insights on lung cancer screening and incidental nodule programs, leveraging clinical and economic data to drive adoption strategies
- Collaborate with regional/global teams, support ROI-based hospital decision-making, and travel up to 40% as required
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring medical device sales/marketing experience in Taiwan/APAC, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to communicate with clinical and executive stakeholders.
- At least 10 years’ strong equipment sales experience, ideally within sales, sales management, or marketing in the medical device industry
- Experience working across Taiwan and broader Asia Pacific markets, including global/multinational environments
- Strong cross-cultural collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Understanding of early-stage product and procedure adoption, with ability to present business plans to stakeholders and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or above with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
