As Technical Sales Manager – North East Asia based in Taipei City, you will play an instrumental role in driving the success of pre-sales activities across Taiwan and neighbouring regions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working hand-in-hand with both technical experts and commercial teams to ensure that every customer interaction is informed by deep product knowledge and a genuine understanding of client needs. You will lead by example—mentoring your team of technical sales engineers while also engaging directly with key accounts to deliver impactful presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and expert guidance on system design. By leveraging your expertise in audio visual integration and your ability to communicate complex solutions clearly, you will help shape projects from initial concept through to successful delivery. - Define and execute comprehensive pre-sales strategies to promote advanced audio visual technologies and solutions to both partners and customers throughout the North East Asia region.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical sales engineers by coordinating proactive activity planning, implementation, and ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate closely with the wider Sales team to provide seamless support for their initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and customer needs.
- Engage directly with key accounts to deliver product demonstrations, assist with system design, and provide tailored technical training sessions that empower client teams.
- Design and implement sophisticated demonstration systems that showcase the full potential of integrated AV solutions in real-world scenarios.
- Present detailed AV solution proposals to both internal stakeholders and external clients, articulating complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Offer on-site assistance during pre-sales discussions, supporting dealers and customers as they define project requirements and explore available options.
- Ensure all customers receive responsive, world-class support at every stage of the engagement process, reinforcing the organisation’s reputation for excellence.

- A minimum of five years’ experience in audio visual (AV), professional AV (ProAV), or ICT sectors within highly competitive markets; candidates with less experience may be considered for an entry-level Technical Sales Engineer position.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while independently planning and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional presentation skills combined with a thorough understanding of corporate environments and stakeholder expectations.
- A proven track record as a self-starter who embraces continuous learning—quickly mastering new software or hardware technologies for practical application in high-profile projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of company positioning within the broader technology landscape, enabling effective communication of value propositions.
- Solid background in audio visual control system integration or equivalent hands-on experience within related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio for documentation and presentations.
- Experience using drafting software such as AutoCAD for system design purposes.
- Good foundational knowledge of Ethernet networking technologies relevant to commercial AV systems integration.
- Exposure to unified collaboration platforms (such as video conferencing systems) is preferred; holding certifications like Microsoft Teams Rooms Technical Solution Professional or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Support Engineer Specialty is advantageous.
- Familiarity with streaming video protocols (H.264/H.265), multicast/unicast RTSP technologies is beneficial for supporting advanced AV deployments.
- Experience working with industry-leading audio DSPs as applied to AV systems integration is desirable but not essential.
- Additional experience integrating commercial technologies such as lighting controls, HVAC systems, distributed audio/video setups, security or surveillance systems would be valuable.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required for effective communication across diverse teams.
