What you'll do:

As a Technical Sales Manager based, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s presence across Taiwan’s industrial landscape. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing robust sales strategies tailored to local market dynamics, managing high-value customer accounts with care, and delivering impactful presentations that highlight the unique benefits of advanced welding solutions. You will be responsible for organising educational seminars that empower distributors and customers alike while providing hands-on technical support whenever needed. By utilising cutting-edge CRM tools, you will ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role means consistently achieving ambitious sales targets through thoughtful planning, relationship-building, and a genuine passion for helping clients solve complex challenges with innovative engineering solutions.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans aimed at increasing market share within Taiwan’s diverse industrial sectors.
  • Manage key customer accounts by nurturing long-term relationships and understanding specific client needs to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive sales of new products and solutions to both existing and prospective customers by leveraging deep technical knowledge and value-based selling techniques.
  • Organise engaging seminars and productivity workshops for distributors and end-users to showcase new product offerings and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing technical advice, service, and support to distributors as well as end-user customers, ensuring they receive timely assistance for their applications.
  • Utilise the CRM system effectively as an integral part of your sales process to track activities, manage leads, and report progress accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director of North Asia by providing all necessary support, which may include travel across Taiwan or occasional international trips.
  • Plan and implement strategies based on thorough market analysis of the welding sector in Taiwan, identifying opportunities for growth in various industry segments.
  • Drive distributor performance by managing relationships proactively and supporting their sales efforts within designated territories.
  • Consistently meet or exceed challenging sales targets including revenue and margin objectives through diligent planning and execution.

  • Willingness to travel throughout Taiwan (and occasionally abroad) as required by business needs or special projects.
  • A commitment to upholding high standards of quality work while adhering strictly to established procedures and codes of conduct.
