Territory Account Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Territory Account Manager to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a knack for sales, and is passionate about providing top-notch service to customers.
What you'll do:
As a Territory Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be managing the sales of hardware, maintenance, and infrastructure solutions. You will demonstrate technical selling skills to effectively prospect, qualify, develop, and close new business. You will also be responsible for independently managing your assigned sales territory. Your ability to use discretion and independent judgment to negotiate deal terms will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will develop an annual sales plan for presentation to the Director of Territory Sales.
- Manage the sales of hardware and/or maintenance and infrastructure solutions
- Effectively prospect, qualify, develop and close new business independently
- Manage assigned sales territory independently
- Use discretion and independent judgment to negotiate deal terms consistent within company pricing, service and other guidelines
- Develop annual sales plan for presentation to Director, Territory Sales
- Understand competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal models
- Carry on business conversations with business influencers and decision makers independently
- Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in taking market share from competitors
- Sell, consult and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Territory Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales of hardware or maintenance agreements to middle market firms. You have a proven track record of achieving sales quotas and can independently manage your sales territory with a plan to meet or exceed these quotas. Your demonstrated goal attainment track record over the plan year or training application period sets you apart from others. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- Successful completion of Business Development Representative training program or 3-15 years’ experience in sales of hardware or maintenance agreements to middle market firms or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
- Ability to independently manage sales territory and plan to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Demonstrated goal attainment track record over plan year or training application period
