A leading organisation seeks a Director of Corporate Affairs, Over-the-Counter (OTC) in Taiwan to lead strategic stakeholder engagement, strengthen corporate reputation, and drive sustainable business impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an integrated corporate affairs strategy that aligns with business objectives, protects organisational reputation, and supports long-term growth across key markets
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to senior leadership by providing strategic guidance on political, regulatory, social, and reputational developments, translating external trends into business actions
  • Lead high-impact stakeholder engagement with government, regulators, healthcare organisations, industry associations, media, and other key partners to influence policy, strengthen partnerships, and advance advocacy priorities
  • Drive corporate communications, media relations, and crisis management by shaping executive messaging, managing external communications, and leading responses to reputational issues and critical incidents
  • Build cross-functional alignment across commercial, regulatory, medical, legal, HR, and regional teams to deliver consistent communications, enhance employee engagement, and support strategic initiatives

Candidate profile:

  • Extensive experience in corporate affairs, government relations, public policy, or a related field within highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer health, or healthcare
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
  • Proven experience working in multinational, matrixed organisations, leading cross-functional collaboration, managing external agencies, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong expertise in government and stakeholder engagement, healthcare policy and regulatory frameworks, corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, and reputation management
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with sound judgement, professionalism, and fluency in English and the local language; additional languages are an advantage
